Wyndham Bloomington - Mall of America

Very cool water park in the pool area. Clean rooms. Great location. A steakhouse and coffe shop on site. A little bummed they don't have a breakfast buffet. No reusable serveware for drinks or food in the rooms. The poolside rooms would be great for guests with little ones.

The folks at this hotel are downright Minnesotan, a rarity in the hotel industry, and why we’d definitely stay at this hotel again. When weather prevented us from making it to the first night of a two night reservation, they were able to rent our room to someone stuck in the twin cities that night due to the storm, and then only charged us for the second night. It was a win-win-win. The concierge staff is extremely helpful and friendly - one staff member has worked at this location for over five years. They do a fantastic job. Rooms are great - they have a number of pool-side rooms, and the water area itself is large and exceptional for children to enjoy - highly recommended if you have kids. Mall of America is walking distance with an enclosed pedestrian walkway crossing the main highway, and they offer shuttle service to and from the airport (and also to the mall). Mall of America has a light rail link to the greater Minneapolis area. No car required from this location for entertainment during the day and night Additional notes: Minus one star on service because there is no longer a continental breakfast at this location, and the parking lot is now $10/night, which due to the proximity to the Mall of America and the airport I somewhat understand. Rates are still reasonable given that these are no longer included with the rental.

I park at the hotel when I am traveling and for my recent travel, Jared was amazing. I called to ensure that a shuttle would be ready to take me to the airport when I arrived but I was informed that it would be 30 mins as the shuttle had left 5 mins prior, was stopping at both terminals, and they had to do a shift change. This was not ideal as I was pushing it to make my flight. I had been ubered by the hotel before when their shuttle was down. I mentioned this to Jared and he kindly stated that he would be happy to uber me. When I arrived, he helped me check in to park and requested my Uber as promised. Thanks so much for your help, Jared.

Dustin at the front desk was super nice and welcoming. When we got to our room, we found we didnt have any hand towels, wash clothes, or garbage bags in either garbage cans, and there was a big bag of popcorn left in a drawer from the previous guest. Dustin was quick to get us what we were missing, and all in all the room and hotel in general was clean. The water park was great for little one, we ended up being the only ones in there during our stay and it was great! Breakfast consisted of a bagged lunch, which had a yogurt, granola bar, muffin and a water, with orange and apple juices and fruit to choose from on the side. Its better then nothing, but nothing was chilled. The hotel is right down the road from some good food places, and across the street from MOA. Definitely would be back and would recommend!

Our second time staying. We enjoy the open pool , clean room, poolside rooms, friendly staff and their efforts of improving their hotel. We first came when they were under construction and pool area wasn’t cleanest at the time but our second time here the pool area is kept very clean! Close walk to MOA just wish had free breakfast again instead of their cafe.

I stayed for valentines weekend. This is a great hotel except a few things. Hottub was broke & they don't tell you unless you ask... fortunately the manager Malik compensated us 15% off our stay because of the inconvenience. They also charge $10 a night parking (per vehicle) which they don't say. Also, they do not except Chime. Overall, this is a real nice hotel, great pool area for kids & they're very accommodating! Highly recommend

Everything was fabulous !!! the check in staff was great !!! polite respectful understanding. our shuttle drivers were awesome. Jill Emily were awesome . I will be recommending the Wyndham Bloomington - Mall Of America to family and friends. everything was 100% the rooms were clean every thing was stocked and in order. the pool was clean everyone was so friendly.

This Wyndham hotel has so much potential, but right now it’s definitely a bit underwhelming. The lobby and café area are absolutely beautiful very modern and aesthetically pleasing ,but unfortunately the rooms don’t match the same vibe. Our room was clean overall, but the ceiling & walls were dirty and there was paint on the curtains. I even took photos to make sure we weren’t blamed for any of the damage, because there was quite a bit. The pool area was simple but nice. I loved the carpet, and there was plenty of seating, which made it a comfortable place for the kids. Cons: • No breakfast included • Extra parking fee • Additional deposit charge on top of the room stay • We were charged three different rates for each night of our stay Which non of this was mentioned during the phone conversation of booking the rooms. For a hotel connected to Mall of America, I expected it to be closer to a true 4-star experience. Honestly, I’d rate the rooms at about a 3-star level. It’s surprising it falls under the Wyndham brand because it doesn’t quite feel up to their usual standard. The location near the mall and pool are definitely keeping this place going, but it still has some work to do to reach its full potential.
